Just notice some bugs with the new beta, first of all it's a lot more stable than the last beta. It still hangs randomly once in a while, that's one of the bugs the other is: I noticed when you try to edit an existing “move mouse” relative\absolute command and change the coordinates for either one, sometimes it will become unresponsive, and none of the buttons (Ok, Canacel) will take you back to the previous window. The buttons are clickable but nothing happens. (ie Clicking ‘OK’ actually clicks but nothing happens). Only option is to end task. The way around it is to remove the Move Mouse command and add the command again rather than edit the existing command.

Just thought I'd give some feedback otherwise haven't noticed anything else.

Thanks for the feedback! How often do each of these issues happen?

Thanks!

The hanging doesn't happen too often. The "edit move mouse" bug seems to be inconsistant sometimes you can go a while and it will work but once it bugs out it stays that way, even closing Voicebot and restarting doesn't seem to help. At some point it will work again but then bug out again as usual.

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the VoiceBot Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue (or wait for it to happen again) and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

ok, I included a screenshot too, it happens on any game profile and it usually triggers when you edit absolute. Time should be at the 2:13pm (central time) zone.

Thanks for sending that over, I'm having no luck reproducing this on my end. Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them from the VoiceBot Settings > Options > Export Settings.

Thanks!

I've been playing around with this on my end but I haven't had any luck reproducing either issue :(

Just to confirm, this didn't happen on the previous beta? I've attached the link below to the download if you would like to try it again.

Thanks!

Right I use voicebot every day for years (have tendon issues in my arm) so yes never happened before on any version. Actually I've never had issues before until the GUI type changes made about a year or so ago (version 3 I guess, I can't remember).

Previous Beta was worse so I'd rather not go back to that but I installed it and it seemed ok, upgraded it and then didn’t work again.

Here’s what I did:
- Edited am existing game profile (any one)
- Created a command called it “anything” and added the Move Mouse: Absolute and picked a random area on the screen. Done. Closed and saved and exited out.
- Same game profile was still running in voicebot. Clicked Edit.
- I edited the “anything” command selected the Move Mouse and clicked edit.
- Left it on absolute and clicked on SHOW SELECTOR and picked a different area on the screen.
- Tried to click OK and nothing happens. Have to end task Voicebot

I do have a lot of game profiles not sure if that has anything to do with it.

It's not a major issue, I simply remove the command rather than edit it but just wanted to point this out.

I attached a short video if you want to watch it.

Ah thanks for sending that video over. I was setting the mouse position manually which seemed to work fine, but I can reproduce this now after using the "Show Selector" box. I've added this to our list to look into, so we'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it going forward.

Thanks!

We've released a new beta that should fix this up, please let me know if you run into any issues after updating.

Thanks!
