My recording software occasionally crashes when the default mic changes and the software mic I use won't register in certain programs when it is not system default.
Has there been any changes regarding this or is there an alternative way to workaround this issue?
Sorry, no, we don't have any updates for the other case. VoiceBot shouldn't be changing your default mic though, does this happen when VoiceBot starts up?

Whenever I choose which mic at the top of the VoiceBot interface, its changes my Windows system default mic.
Ah yep, that's the way it needs to be for now. There isn't a way for us to pass the mic input to the speech engine without it being the default mic at the moment.
