I have quite a lot of trouble getting the speech recognition to work and a lot of the time words just don't get recognised. I've trained it twice now. Also I'm using the microphone in my Logitech Quickcam 9000 which might not be the optimal solution.

Just wanting to know what other people are using for a microphone and how successful is the recognition. I'm guessing it wouldn't hurt investing in a better quality mic.

I did trial VoiceAttack before Voicebot but had same issues no doubt to both using windows speech recognition. The only voice program that worked very well was Game Commander series. Had no issue with that.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Cheers

I use a Logitech webcam mic and it seems to work ok for me, but I'm using it in a quiet office :)

Do you have a lot of background noise where you are? I also have a Plantronics Audio 655 headset that has an excellent mic.

Hope that helps!

Cheers. I managed to tweak it all a bit more and get the recognition working better.
