I've tried to test this version, and as soon as it detects input from the mic the app crashes. If I mute my mic I can get into the app, however, as soon as I unmute the mic, or even change the volume with the mic still muted I the app will crash. I've enabled all logging, and the only thing that gets logged before crash is this entry multiple times, though it doesn't seem very useful:
